IVA PREPARATION AND POST BUILD CHECKS

All of our kit built cars require an Individual Vehicle Approval test at a DVSA centre. This process is comprised of a series of rigorous tests that your newly built car must pass before it is deemed safe to be registered for the road.

A post-build check is included with every kit sold, with an IVA presentation package also available at an extra charge. As part of this, we will identify and advise on any items the car may require to pass its IVA test and present your car to the DVSA centre on your behalf.

Having spent the best part of 60 years developing the Seven, what our trained experts don’t know about how to maintain your Seven probably isn’t worth knowing.

All Caterham approved retailers operate a standardised servicing schedule at regular mileage and age intervals, whichever one comes first, ensuring your Seven’s performance remains at its peak.

Additional servicing is also required on some Sevens at the 2 year, 4 year and 6 year intervals, irrespective of mileage.
